Most theatres have ticket price concessions for disabled visitors and/or a ‘companion’ ticket. These can often be easier to book on the phone, rather than online, so we recommend that you call the box office first. Other theatres will sometimes do a free upgrade to the best seats to help with access. You may be able to get free theatre tickets from some local and national charities, such as Day trippers.
Access can be an issue at some theatres – have a look through our links to check out individual theatres. And if your kids fancy having a go on stage themselves, have a look at our drama section.
