Anxiety UK

Anxiety UK is a member of the Association of Mental Health Providers and they provide support to people with any kind of anxiety disorder or phobia living in the UK.

They work with a variety of ages and provide support in a variety of ways, specialist helpline support, group sessions and online communities.

 

Carers (UK)

Carers UK gives advice, information and support to carers via their website, Helpline and email advice service.

 

They campaign for lasting change on key issues affecting carers and help carers stay connected through their online Forum community.

Uncommon Forum

Is exactly what it says, it’s a forum based site where questions about mental health, eating disorders, phobias, psychology are asked and answered.

Experts in their field answer some of those “uncommon” questions about these illnesses.

Youth Access

Youth Access are a members lead charity focussing on the mental health of young people in the UK.

They offer free, confidential sessions in a variety of locations as well as online support.

They are part of YIACS (Youth Information, advice and counselling services)

SADA (Seasonal Affective Disorder Association)

SADA helps people of all ages with SAD (seasonal affective disorder) this condition can affect anyone during the long cold winter months.

They support across the UK in a variety of ways including lots of information about the right equipment you can buy, people and services that can help and self help measures that you can put in place.

Samaritans

When life gets too much we can always turn to this amazing charity to help, a friendly voice is at the end of a free phone call to anyone in the UK with any kind of mental health concern, suicidal thought or more stress than you can manage on your own.

They also have over 200 community programmes that you can  visit and take part in.  Their volunteers also work in schools and colleges to help support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people across the whole of the UK.

Big White Wall

Big White Wall is a peer to peer support network for members. It’s a safe space to discuss any emotional problems and get advice on support on any kind of mental health concerns. There are also tools and advice available for you to access to help improve your wellbeing. This is a UK wide support website.

No More Panic

No More Panic’s website gives lots of advice about managing mental health conditions such as OCD, panic attacks, anxiety and phobias. There is a chat option as well as a forum if you wish to speak with other people facing the same issues.

Clinical Depression UK

Clinical Depression UK is a website that helps you work out why you may be clinically depressed, how to understand it and how you can overcome it.

This is a members only site with lots of evidence based information for people in the UK and their families.
