Off The Record

Off The Record offer a variety of ways to help support yourself with your own mental health in Croydon, Merton and Sutton.

You can make contact through their message boards or live chat app.

There are also drop in sessions in those locations.

 

Aware NI (Northern Ireland)

Aware are a charity that support people with depression and mental health issues in Northern Ireland. They have an impressive 24 local support groups so theres bound to be one near you. They also deliver mental health and wellbeing sessions in schools and colleges.

Moodswings

Moodswings are a Manchester based charity who help people of all ages deal with emotional problems, anxiety, stress and other mental health conditions.

They do this by providing a range of services including telephone support, mentorships and group sessions.

Samaritans

When life gets too much we can always turn to this amazing charity to help, a friendly voice is at the end of a free phone call to anyone in the UK with any kind of mental health concern, suicidal thought or more stress than you can manage on your own.

They also have over 200 community programmes that you can  visit and take part in.  Their volunteers also work in schools and colleges to help support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people across the whole of the UK.

Self-Harm UK

Self-Harm UK is a project dedicated to young people with mental health issues and who self harm. They have a range of information and facts for both young people and parents and also ways to contact someone for help. They often signpost young people to resources local to them for the most effective outcome.

Rethink

Rethink will guide you to Mental Health Support Services in the UK or information through their helpline (restricted hours) or online information service. They have lots of useful guides about how to maintain good Mental health and who to ask for support when you need it.

Mind (The Mental Health Charity)

Mind provides advice and support for anyone experiencing a mental health problem in the UK. They support young people and you can contact them through their helpline or drop in centres around the country.  They offer a range of other services including help with housing or employment concerns and also host training schemes for schools and employers.
