They campaign for lasting change on key issues affecting carers and help carers stay connected through their online Forum community.

Platfform(Wales)

A dedicated charity who work with people to help improve their mental health.  They have a dedicated hub for young people to be able to voice their concerns in a safe space.

Youth Access

Youth Access are a members lead charity focussing on the mental health of young people in the UK.

They offer free, confidential sessions in a variety of locations as well as online support.

They are part of YIACS (Youth Information, advice and counselling services)

Off The Record

Off The Record offer a variety of ways to help support yourself with your own mental health in Croydon, Merton and Sutton.

You can make contact through their message boards or live chat app.

There are also drop in sessions in those locations.

 

Max’s Foundation

Max’s foundation is set out to raise awareness and donations for research into genetic heart conditions, they also provide small grants to families to help make a difference to a child living with a heart condition that affects their day to day life.

MGEDT (Men Get Eating Disorders Too)

MGEDT is an award winning charity run by men for  men who have experienced an eating disorder. They support men in the UK via support groups and their online support network.

Bipolar UK

Bipolar UK are a national charity that support people who have bipolar in a number of ways, they have online peer support section on their website that allows you to talk with other people who also have bipolar, they also have support groups in many areas and host an online forum that you can get involved with.

Big White Wall

Big White Wall is a peer to peer support network for members. It’s a safe space to discuss any emotional problems and get advice on support on any kind of mental health concerns. There are also tools and advice available for you to access to help improve your wellbeing. This is a UK wide support website.

Time To Change

Time to Change are an organisation that encourage us to think more positively about our own mental health and how we see it in others.  By removing stigmas and negativity we can help each other.

They work with MIND the mental health charity and others to provide this online service to people in the UK.

They work in communities, schools and workplaces to deliver programmes that help us to improve how we see mental health.

Students Against Depression

A site run by students for students who are suffering with mental health issues including depression.

Not only do they fundraise and raise awareness but they offer practical and emotional support to students in the UK.
