Wheelgate Park in Nottingham has 7 zones of fun, excitement, entertainment, intrigue and white knuckle rides and a splash zone, theres even a zone just for watch falconry and learn about them. With annual passes and many ways to support people with special educational needs or disabilities it really is a day out for everyone.
Gifted and Talented Footballers aged from 10 to 16 years of age, who fall into the impairment groups, Learning disability, Cerebral Palsy, Amputee, Deaf, Blind or Partially Sighted are invited to attend trials for the Player Development Centre. The PDC allows talented players the chance to be placed in a technical programme designed to produce football excellence and the opportunity to progress through the talent pathway. The Player Development Centre is delivered in partnership with Notts County Football in the Community as part of the on-going disability football partnership. Training takes place on a fortnightly basis at Power League, Lenton Lane, Nottingham.
