This organisation grants wishes to children and young people between the ages of 3 and 17 years who have not received a wish from another charity.
Charlotte’s Tandems
The brilliant Charlotte’s Tandems lends tandems to (and only to) people with disabilities or special needs for free, who are unable to ride a bike safely on their own, so that they can enjoy the wonders of cycling. Their borrowers are both children and adults. Tandems are a fun and a safe way to get out and about as friends, a couple, family or group. They are available for hire for a couple of a months at a time.
The Chicken Shed
The Chicken Shed is an inclusive theatre company in which individuals from all backgrounds and of all abilities can work together to the common end of high quality performance in drama, music and dance. It runs children’s and youth theatre workshops, education courses, community outreach projects and a network of satellite ‘Sheds’ across the country.
