Round Table Children

At Round Table Children’s Wish, we grant wishes for children and young people who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses. It gives the child something to look forward to when it is needed most and to create some special memories for all the family.

Rays of Sunshine Children

We help children who are living with serious or life-limiting illnesses between the ages of 3-18, across the United Kingdom.

Promise Dreams

Promise Dreams help seriously or terminally ill children under 18 years and their families. It provides once in a lifetime dreams from holidays to meeting their favourite celebrity. Families are asked to consider fundraising as they may only be able to offer a donation towards the dream.

Make a Wish Foundation

This organisation grants wishes to children and young people between the ages of 3 and 17 years who have not received a wish from another charity.

Dreamflight

Dreamflight organises holidays of a lifetime to seriously ill and disabled children without their parents to Orlando, Florida. The ten day holiday for children and young people aged 8 to 14 years is accompanied by a team of medical carers who provide 24 hour care that includes a doctor, physiotherapist and 3 nurses. Additional non medical care also support the children.

StopGap Dance

Company of dancers with and without disabilities who believe in innovative, and technically dance. Dancers, gallery, details of their repertoire and booking information.

Skoogmusic

Children who cannot use traditional instruments can now make music of their own with an easy-to-use invention developed at the University of Edinburgh. Site offers details of this touch sensitive colourful, squeezy cube that allows severely disabled to play and enjoy music.

Music and the Deaf

A unique charity that brings music and the performing arts to deaf people. Includes training workshop details, newsletters and a deaf musicians forum. Deaf Youth Orchestra, a “Fun Day” and tuition scheme. Music and the Deaf runs workshops for all ages and all degrees of deafness. These can be an introduction to music, be about composing, can include dance and drama, be longer-term projects, about signed song – whatever your need they can devise a workshop for you.
