The Calvert Trust offer a wide range of accessible activities in three locations in the UK. Their centres in the Lake District, Kielder, and Exmoor offer accessible outdoor activities and holidays. The Calvert Trust is the inspiration of John Fryer-Spedding, whose vision was to enable people with disabilities to benefit from outdoor activities in the countryside. The charity began with one centre in the Lake District in 1976, and has grown to three centres in beautiful locations. They provide a fantastic array of specialist equipment on their sites, including hoists, adaptive sports equipment, and specialist beds and showers within their accommodation.
