3H Fund

3H are a charity that provide holidays for disabled people, their families or carers. Everyone deserves the chance to experience a trip to the seaside or some fresh country air or a ride on a roller coaster. They aim to provide as many people with that opportunity. Action For Kids

Action for kids has rebranded, take a look at their new site…

At Action For Kids they believe mobility equipment is one of the great enablers for young people with disabilities. They provide young people up to the age of 26 with mobility equipment not available on the NHS. Action For Kids welcomes applications from, or on behalf of, any child or young person up to 26 years old, suffering from any physical or mental condition that requires a mobility aid or other equipment that facilitates independence. However they are only able to accept applications for equipment which is not normally available from a statutory body. In the last year Action For Kids has supplied buggies, car seats, electric scooters, sports wheelchairs, trikes , walkers, and power packs, and welcome applications for any of these. Caudwell Children

Caudwell Children provide family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK. They also run our Enable Sport programme for talented disabled athletes and their Destination Dreams holiday for children fighting life threatening conditions.

Chips

Chips purchase specialised powered wheelchairs for youngsters with varying disabilities. Chips provides these wheelchairs for children who would otherwise have no way of getting around on their own. They buy the wheelchairs that the NHS cannot or will not provide and that the parents cannot afford to buy.

Whizz-Kidz

Whizz-Kidz provides essential mobility equipment, such as powered or manual wheelchairs, and recreational equipment, such as trikes, that are customised to meet individual children’s needs. The service ensures that children get the right mobility equipment, advice and training at the right time. The wheelchair training programme includes improving the use of your wheelchair, new wheelchair skills and road safety awareness.
