Charity for Kids offer grants for essential disability equipment that may not be available via usual channels or is outside of a families budget.
The Boparan Charitable trust provides support to young people disadvantaged through disability. The trust has been to known to provide funding for a wide variety of items including wheelchairs, trikes, sensory toys, car seats and lots of other equipment to help improve the quality of life of the children and their families in the UK.

At Action For Kids they believe mobility equipment is one of the great enablers for young people with disabilities. They provide young people up to the age of 26 with mobility equipment not available on the NHS. Action For Kids welcomes applications from, or on behalf of, any child or young person up to 26 years old, suffering from any physical or mental condition that requires a mobility aid or other equipment that facilitates independence. However they are only able to accept applications for equipment which is not normally available from a statutory body. In the last year Action For Kids has supplied buggies, car seats, electric scooters, sports wheelchairs, trikes , walkers, and power packs, and welcome applications for any of these. Newlife provides grants for essential equipment such as: pain relieving beds, wheelchairs, communication aids, and much more. They are also gateway to information, grants and care. They have a national Helpline which supports and informs families, whether they have just been told of their child’s disability or need help accessing local services. Lifeline 4 kids provides essential equipment to help improve the quality of life for children (0-18 years) with disabilities and special needs. For the individual child they provide the full spectrum of specialised equipment such as electric wheelchairs, mobility aids and specialised computers. They are able to give emergency and welfare appeals immediate approval within the authorised limits of our welfare sub-committee. They also help equip hospital neonatal units with the latest incubators, infusion pumps and ultrasonic monitors amongst other life saving equipment.
