Sky Badger has been incredibly lucky to have won and been shortlisted for a wide range of awards. We're extremely grateful to have been recognised and to have the occasional excuse to wear a posh frock!

This award celebrates the efforts of organisations working with charities to make a better society. Sky Badger were recognised for our work with Ogilvy & Mather, Aimia and Baking Mad in building and piloting our disability awareness in schools programme. We've developed a really great programme because of the hard work all of our partners put into working so closely with us.

Scale Up Award 2015

Our CEO, Naomi Marek, was selected by the prestigious School for Social Entrepreneurs in London. This one year course included training, a mentor and group learning in all areas of business. It also built long term contacts and friendships to support Sky Badger for years to come. We would like to express our huge thanks to the School for their support and passion in helping our charity grow. As a result we know where we're going and we're well on our way!

Winner

Sky Badger was chosen as one of the five charities honoured by The Guardian’s prestigious award. From over 1,200 entries, the five winners were chosen based on their innovation, impact and sustainability. The Guardian Charity Awards champions charities that are making a significant contribution to improving social wellbeing in the UK. They give a boost to organisations that often get overshadowed by the big players in the voluntary sector and who struggle to get the profile and funding they need to move forward.

This enormous honour has helped our profile grow and attract new support. It has pushed us to work even harder to help families with disabled children.
