Big Adventures

No matter what additional needs your child has, the world can still be yours to explore together. How about an all-inclusive beach hotel in Brazil, disabled friendly safari, a Northern Lights Cruise, a weekend in New York or a log cabin in Yellowstone National Park? Pretty much anything is possible with enough planning.

Why not double up your holiday with disability sports? Or how about skiing in Italy? Disability Snow Sports offer skiing and boarding activity week holidays in Europe and North America. There are lots of holiday companies that can give you advice about getting off the beaten track, for example Disabled Holiday Directory which links disabled facilities all over the world, as well as cruises and holiday cottages in the UK. If your child travels in a wheelchair, then check out World in a Wheelchair– a great site where all international travel reviews are written by wheelchair users. There are also some fantastic travel advice links from Ableize.

Have a look through our links for inspiration and send us a postcard!

You might also find our grants, transport, disability friendly holidays, and accessibility pages useful.
